When determining eligibility for bussing, your child first has to be eligible to attend the school your are registering them at and they must have to walk within the below walking distances which are calculated from the home address OR the childcare address.
If your child is in JK or SK they have to be greater then 800m to qualify
If your child is between Grade 1 to 8 they have to be greater then 1600m (1.6km) to qualify
If your child is between Grade 9 to 12 they have to be greater then 3200m (3.2km) to qualify
To determine if you child is eligible to attend a school based on your address you will need to check each school boards website to determine this.
